/*
 * The Spin Sheet: the lettering, served from this theme.
 *
 * A drawing is lettered in one alphabet. ISO 3098 gives the draughtsman a single letter form and a
 * single stroke width, and lets him vary only the height, so this theme carries one family in two
 * widths rather than a display face set against a text face:
 *
 * Barlow Semi Condensed the drawing letter. Headings, the wordmark, the menu, and the caption
 * and value of every field in the title block. One weight across the
 *                           whole heading ladder, because a drawing letter has one stroke width;
 * the quieter 500 is there for the menu row and for a field value, where
 * 600 in a long row reads as shouting.
 * Barlow the same skeleton at normal width, for running text. A condensed letter
 * is right for a field that has to be filled and wrong for a paragraph,
 * and the two widths of one family keep the page in one voice.
 * B612 Mono every figure, dimension, date and callout. B612 was drawn for Airbus
 * cockpit displays, where a number has to be read once and not mistaken
 * for another number, which is the whole requirement this site has of a
 * figure. Tabular by construction, so a column of sums lines up.
 *
 * The woff2 files come from Fontsource (@fontsource/barlow 5.3.0,
 * @fontsource/barlow-semi-condensed 5.3.0, @fontsource/b612-mono 5.3.0). All three families carry
 * the SIL Open Font License 1.1 and the licence texts sit beside the files in fonts/.
 *
 * Nothing here points outside the site, so no page ever asks Google for a letter.
 *
 * On the ranges below. Fontsource cuts its latin subset to one declared range for every family and
 * that range is wider than some of these faces actually are: it names U+2000-206F wholesale, and
 * the arrows U+2191 and U+2193, and the division slash U+2215. Each file was read with fontTools
 * before shipping and the range written here is the declared subset intersected with what the face
 * can in fact draw, per family, so no face is ever offered a character it would answer with a
 * notdef box. What that check turned up, and what the theme therefore never prints:
 *
 * U+2192 right arrow in none of the three families. Every arrowhead on this site is drawn
 * in CSS by .dy-dim and .dy-leader, so nothing needs the glyph.
 * U+2191, U+2193 in B612 Mono only, so a figure may carry them and a sentence may not.
 * U+2000-200A, U+202F the fixed-width and narrow spaces, in none of them. Where a figure
 * and its unit must not be split, the no-break space U+00A0 does it.
 * U+2215 division slash not in B612 Mono. A ratio is set with the plain solidus.
 * U+2248, U+2300 in none of them, so no page writes "approximately equal to" or a
 * diameter mark as a character.
 *
 * The pound sign U+00A3, the multiplication sign U+00D7, plus-minus U+00B1, the degree sign, the
 * true minus U+2212, the prime and double prime, both dashes, the curly quotes and the ellipsis are
 * in all six files, which covers every character a sum on this site is set with.
