Sheet M07 Revision 1 Checked 15 October 2026
100 free welcome bonus no deposit required
Pounds or cycles: a hundred does not say which, and the two readings bill £4,000.00 and £384.00 of turnover at forty times. Read as money, the hundred owes a hundred thousand seconds at the reels and settles at nothing.
£4,000.00 demanded against £100.00 of credit at forty times

Open the offer at Crown Jewelz, opens in a new tabThe figure at the foot of a receipt is this site's own arithmetic and nothing an operator has published: the credit, less the share a spin gives back at 96 per cent return to player, less what playing the wagering through costs at the same return. It describes the offer, not one reader's afternoon. Where the conditions price above the credit the receipt prints nothing rather than a negative sum, and where a figure the sum needs is unpublished it prints the condition in the operator's words instead.
Three words stand in the amount column where no figure can. Noted is a published condition that takes value away without leaving the sum a figure to take. Unpriced is a condition whose figure nobody has published, or a credit that is not a sum until a deposit of your own sets it. Own money is money of yours, which is never part of a total.
Not one of the operators printed above holds a Great Britain licence, so the duties that licence carries do not reach them. Every online gambling company licensed in Great Britain has to be part of Gamstop Online, and a reader who has shut themselves out through the scheme is therefore not shut out here. The ceiling of ten times the bonus funds on a wagering requirement, in force since 19 January 2026, is a condition of that licence and binds the companies that hold one. Where a dispute goes instead is a matter for the authority named on the receipt, and the Gambling Commission describes what a reader faces without a British licence as a lack of recourse if things go wrong. Nobody under 18 may hold an account at any of them.
Every term printed on a receipt is the operator's own, and each receipt carries the day it was read. The oldest of those readings is 15 October 2026. What binds a reader is the operator's own full terms, and not a line printed here.
1
A hundred of what
A welcome headline built on a bare hundred leaves out the one thing a reader needs in order to price it, which is the unit. A hundred pounds of bonus funds and a hundred cycles of a slot are the same number attached to two instruments that differ by a factor of ten before any condition is read.
This sheet prices the money reading first, because a welcome bonus quoted without the word spins is a credit expressed in currency, and because the money reading is the one that produces the larger bill by an order of magnitude. Part 4 runs the cycles reading and says where the two part company.
So B starts at £100.00. Nothing is paid in and nothing is asked for, so the credit itself bounds the exposure. Against that stands a requirement to turn the credit over forty times, which is the order of demand this part of the market tends to set when it sets one at all.
The pence a cycle is worth are an operator’s commercial choice, and no published rule names a floor, a ceiling or a discloser. That matters in part 4, where a hundred cycles have to be given a price before they can be priced at all, and it does not matter here, because a hundred pounds is already denominated.
Where the unit ought to appear is in the terms themselves. Social Responsibility Code 5.1.1 obliges a licensee offering any incentive to publish terms that are transparent, clear and fair, and to keep them easy to reach for anyone it is put in front of. A headline whose unit has to be guessed at fails that at the first word. Rule 8.17 of the advertising code puts the same duty on the promotion itself: a significant condition has to be stated where it will be seen, in every case where leaving it out would tend to mislead.
What goes into every figure below:
- A credit of £100.00 in bonus funds, nothing deposited against it.
- A cabinet whose theoretical return is 96 per cent, which leaves four pence of every pound with the house.
- W at forty, moved through six values in part 3 and down to the regulated ten in part 7.
- Contribution at full value until part 6.
- A wager of 10p where a count of cycles or a clock is wanted, varied in part 5.
2
The expression, with money in it
Four letters and one bracket decide the answer, so here is the expression and then the substitution.
E = B × (1 – (W × (1 – RTP)) / g)
Whoever drafted the promotion supplies two of the letters. B is the credit as it stands at face, and W is the number of turnovers demanded. Two belong to the game cabinet instead: RTP is the theoretical return and g is the fraction of a wager the requirement will accept. E comes out in pounds.
E = £100.00 × (1 – (40 × 0.04) / 1)
E = £100.00 × (1 – 1.60)
E = -£60.00
Two intermediate quantities make that legible. Turning a hundred pounds over forty times is £4,000.00 of wagering before a withdrawal is permitted, and a cabinet keeping four pence in the pound expects to retain £160.00 of it. Sixty pounds more cost than there was credit to meet it.
Nobody is invoiced for that sixty pounds. With no deposit behind the account the balance cannot go under nought, so the credit simply runs dry somewhere inside the £4,000.00 and what prints at the foot is £0.00. What the minus sixty measures is how far past its own credit the condition was drawn.
That is the figure this part of the site exists to put a number on. A hundred pounds with a forty times requirement is not a hundred pounds with a string attached. The string is worth more than the hundred pounds.
3
Pence kept per pound of credit
W is the only term with any real spread in practice, so the credit is run against six values of it with everything else pinned.
| Multiple | Turnover demanded | Expected cost | Expected cash | Cycles at 10p |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 10 times | £1,000.00 | £40.00 | £60.00 | 10,000 |
| 20 times | £2,000.00 | £80.00 | £20.00 | 20,000 |
| 25 times | £2,500.00 | £100.00 | £0.00 | 25,000 |
| 30 times | £3,000.00 | £120.00 | -£20.00 | 30,000 |
| 40 times | £4,000.00 | £160.00 | -£60.00 | 40,000 |
| 60 times | £6,000.00 | £240.00 | -£140.00 | 60,000 |
Twenty-five is where the two halves of the bill cancel out, because four pence of edge taken twenty-five times over consumes a whole pound of credit. Set the expected cash to nought and B divides itself out of the working, which leaves a figure built from the return alone and from nothing the promotion controls.
A hundred pounds makes that readable as a rate. Divide the expected cash by the credit and the whole section can be stated in pence per pound.
- At ten times, sixty pence of each pound of credit survives.
- At twenty times, twenty pence survives.
- At twenty-five times, nothing survives and nothing is owed.
- At forty times, the requirement overshoots its own credit by sixty pence in the pound.
- At sixty times, it overshoots by one pound forty in the pound.
Those pence are the reason a larger headline is not automatically a better offer. Every line of the ladder is a proportion of B, so a thousand pound credit at forty times keeps exactly as little as a tenner does. Size changes the scale of the loss and never its direction.
4
The same hundred counted as cycles
Now read the headline the other way. A hundred cycles priced at 10p are £10.00 on the front, and a cabinet returning 96 per cent hands back £9.60 of every ten pounds pushed across it. So B falls to £9.60 before a condition is applied, because a cycle has to be played where a pound of bonus funds merely has to be wagered.
Forty times £9.60 is £384.00 of turnover, costing £15.36 against a credit of £9.60, and the overshoot is £5.76. The money reading demands £4,000.00. Dividing one by the other gives 10.42, so the same advertised hundred can carry ten and a half times the obligation depending on a word that the headline did not print.
Two separate effects make up that multiplier. Ten of it is the credit itself, since a hundred pounds is ten times ten pounds. The remaining four per cent is the haircut a cycle takes on its way through the cabinet, which a cash credit does not take at the door.
£4,000.00 as money against £384.00 as cycles, from one headline
The advice the regulator gives players runs the same way: look for whatever restricts a bonus or an introductory offer, the instance named being a minimum level of spending ahead of payment. A unit left unstated is that restriction in its purest form, since it decides the size of the obligation without appearing anywhere in the arithmetic the reader has been shown.
The cycles reading of this very number is worked through line by line on 100 free spins no deposit, which carries the ladder, the clock and the contribution rate on a credit of £9.60 rather than £100.00.
5
What the wager size moves, and what it cannot
The size of a single wager appears nowhere in the pricing, which is why raising it buys time rather than money. Turnover demanded is a quantity of currency, so it arrives in whatever number of cycles the stake implies and costs £160.00 on the way there regardless.
At 10p a cycle, £4,000.00 is 40,000 cycles. RTS 14D will not allow a second slot cycle to be commenced inside 2.5 seconds of the first being started, which puts 100,000 seconds under the requirement: twenty-seven hours, forty-six minutes and forty seconds, and a floor rather than an estimate.
Raise the wager and the floor drops, but only as far as the law allows it to. A statutory instrument made on 25 February 2025 attaches a per-cycle ceiling to every remote casino operating licence, including those issued before it existed: two pounds for a player under twenty-five and five pounds for everybody else. The Commission’s own guidance gives 9 April 2025 for the five pound limit and 21 May 2025 for the two pound one, and states that both are confined to online slots and leave roulette and blackjack alone. In the instrument’s own definition the game must be played online and must be reel-based, with moving or changing images settling whether a prize or some other advantage arrives.
So the fastest lawful route through a forty times requirement on a hundred pounds runs like this. At five pounds a cycle it is 800 cycles and 2,000 seconds, thirty-three minutes and twenty seconds. At two pounds it is 2,000 cycles and 5,000 seconds, an hour and twenty-three minutes. At 10p it is the twenty-seven hours above. The expected cost is £160.00 in every one of the three, and the line at the foot is £0.00 in every one of the three.
40,000 cycles at 10p, 800 at the £5 slot ceiling, £160.00 either way
Nor can the cycles be delegated. RTS 8A asks for an individual commitment to each game cycle and excepts one thing only, the automatic posting of blinds in peer-to-peer poker, so forty thousand cycles means forty thousand separate decisions to continue. RTS 14E closes the other shortcut by refusing a customer the means to shorten the wait for a result, its guidance naming slam stop, quick spin and turbo as the features that go.
An offshore cashier holds no Great Britain licence, and what that subtracts can be set out obligation by obligation instead of asserted. Begin with these: the responsible gaming policy published by the Curaçao authority fixes no minimum interval between game cycles, caps no wager, and is silent on automatic play. The identical £4,000.00 may therefore be run at whatever pace and whatever stake the platform permits, which compresses twenty-seven hours into something much shorter without moving the £160.00 by a penny.
6
Contribution, the term no ceiling reaches
Everything so far has credited a staked pound in full. A cabinet that counts for part of a pound does not reduce the requirement; it stretches the wagering needed to discharge it, and on a four thousand pound requirement the stretch is brutal.
Put contribution at thirty pence in the pound. The requirement is unchanged at £4,000.00 of contribution. Earning that much contribution now takes £13,333.33 across the reels, at an expected cost of £533.33, so the overshoot runs from £60.00 to £433.33 while the headline sits exactly where it was.
E = £100.00 × (1 – (40 × 0.04) / 0.30)
E = £100.00 × (1 – 5.3333)
E = -£433.33
The clock follows the money. £13,333.33 at 10p a cycle runs past 133,000 cycles. Hold each of them 2.5 seconds apart and the obligation is beyond ninety-two hours of pressing a button. Even at the five pound ceiling it is some two thousand six hundred cycles and the better part of two hours.
Now wind W back to ten, where a British licence stops it, and hold contribution where it is. The requirement becomes £1,000.00 of contribution, which takes £3,333.33 of wagering at a cost of £133.33, and the expected cash is -£33.33. So a multiple well inside the regulated ceiling can still price at nothing. The ceiling is drawn round W, and nothing at all is drawn round g.
That thirty per cent is an illustration and nothing more. It reached print as a respondent’s submission to the regulator’s consultation, in which a pound wagered contributed thirty pence towards a requirement, and the regulator noted the point without going on to regulate weighting at all. No primary source publishes a table of the contribution rates in use today, so the three figures above are this site’s own arithmetic applied to somebody else’s quoted rate. Where contribution is the subject rather than the complication, slots free spins takes it further.
7
What a licence puts under a hundred pounds
The arithmetic above is indifferent to who is running the cabinet. What is not indifferent is the set of duties sitting underneath it, and on a hundred pound credit three of them bite in ways worth separating.
A ceiling drawn round W
A wagering requirement, in the provision’s own terms, is wagers that have to total a stated value before funds can be taken out, which is the product of B and W wearing other clothes. Ten times the bonus funds is as far as a licensee may go, and that ceiling dates from 19 January 2026. On a hundred pounds that is £1,000.00 of wagering, £40.00 of expected cost and £60.00 of expected cash. What the ceiling was fixing, in the regulator’s own figure, was wagering requirements running up to sixty times. On this credit sixty times is £6,000.00 of wagering, and the credit finishes £140.00 behind the cost. Its scope takes in all licences other than gambling software and gaming machine technical, which means every remote casino licence issued here is inside it.
A hundred pounds of welcome credit is also the clean case for that ceiling. Bonus funds is the phrase the provision uses, and a credit denominated in pounds and held in an account as bonus funds is plainly within it. Nobody has published whether a single cycle counts as bonus funds on its own, in either direction, so the money reading of this headline is the better defined of the two under a British licence.
One incentive, one product, with a gap in it
The same provision has barred mixing products inside a single incentive since the same date, naming four of them: betting, casino, bingo and lottery. A welcome credit advertised across a sportsbook and a casino is the obvious casualty of that rule, and it is also the place the rule stops. The regulator’s own carve-outs say so. More than one product of the same type is permitted, scratchcard and raffle being its example. Casino and betting offers may share an email, provided marketing consent has been given for both products. And where a credit can be spent on any product the holder chooses, ten pounds usable across casino and betting being the illustration, the ban does not reach it. The aim is stated narrowly, at incentives whose terms are linked and shared.
A protection a no deposit player does not have
One British rule that reads as though it ought to help here does nothing of the sort. A licensee may neither impose nor lean on a term that caps what a consumer draws out of their own deposit balance. The regulator supplies an example of the wording it bars, and it caps the week at £500 after capping the day at £50. Money in that balance, winnings included, can be taken out whenever the player likes, and where a limit on withdrawals exists at all it must be a reasonable one.
A no deposit account has no deposit balance. The protection attaches to the player’s own money and there is none, so a ceiling written around what the credit itself may win sits outside its reach. Both things are true of one cashier at one moment, and keeping them apart is the difference between reading the rule and hoping for it.
The rulebook on the other side
Set those against what the Curaçao policy contains. Two sentences are all the Curaçao policy gives to bonuses, one on transparent terms and one against aggressive promotion. Nothing there answers to the ten times ceiling. Nothing bars one incentive from spanning two products. And no list anywhere in it says which conditions are the significant ones. The wagering multiple is therefore unbounded in the plain sense that nothing bounds it, and the four thousand pounds in part 2 could as easily have been six thousand.
Self-exclusion does exist on that side and works differently. Membership of Gamstop Online follows from the British licence: hold one and the company is in the scheme. The scheme is equally plain about where it stops, since it cannot keep a registered person away from gambling run by anybody outside it. Curaçao demands self-exclusion too, but one operator and its domains at a time. A year is the shortest period it offers where registration here starts at six months, and the policy’s remedy for every other site is a suggestion that the player go and exclude themselves there as well. This sheet offers no route back to a site a reader has locked, and the numbers for help are printed below.
8
Pricing a hundred yourself
Seven lines, and the first is the one this headline makes hard.
| The step | Here |
|---|---|
| Settle what the hundred counts | pounds |
| Write down B at face | £100.00 |
| Lift W out of the terms | 40x |
| B times W, divided by g | £4,000.00 |
| The house edge on that turnover | £160.00 |
| Credit less cost | -£60.00 |
| Floor the answer at nought | £0.00 |
Three things that answer does not settle, and they are the reason a nought here is not the end of the reading.
It is a mean and not a prediction. The £60.00 that ten times would leave on this credit describes the middle of a very wide distribution, and the single commonest result of a session is nothing at all. The expression is candid about the long run and says nothing about one evening.
It supposes that the credit lasts long enough to play and that the winnings last long enough to reach a bank. A ceiling on what the bonus may win, or a discretion the house has kept for itself, stands outside the brackets altogether and can empty the answer with no help from W.
It also assumes that the figures in hand are the figures that were used. The window, any win ceiling, the contribution rate and W are all to be lifted from the document actually in your hand and put into the expression in part 2. The total that comes out is then yours and not this sheet’s. Neighbouring sheets run the identical method on other headlines: casino no deposit bonus prices a cash credit without the unit problem, 5 free spins no deposit takes the smallest version of the cycles reading, and 200 free spins runs a count large enough that the hours become the finding. The whole of the section stands indexed at The multiple, ordered by the size of the headline rather than by the size of the bill.
Questions
- Is a 100 free welcome bonus with no deposit required worth anything?
- Read as a hundred pounds of bonus funds, nothing on these figures. The credit stands at £100.00, a forty times requirement demands £4,000.00 of wagering, and a cabinet keeping four pence in the pound expects to take £160.00 of it. That is sixty pounds more cost than credit, so the credit runs dry and the foot reads £0.00.
- Does a hundred mean pounds or free spins?
- The headline does not say, and the difference decides the bill. A hundred pounds of bonus funds carries £4,000.00 of turnover at forty times. A hundred cycles priced at 10p average £9.60 of winnings and carry £384.00. One advertised number, ten and a half times the obligation at one reading rather than the other.
- What multiple would leave a hundred pound credit intact?
- Anything below twenty-five leaves something, and twenty-five leaves nothing. Four pence of house edge taken twenty-five times over uses up a whole pound of credit, so at ten times sixty pence in the pound survives, at twenty times twenty pence does, and past twenty-five the requirement costs more than the credit it was fastened to.
- On a hundred pounds, how long is a forty times play-through?
- At 10p a cycle, twenty-seven hours, forty-six minutes and forty seconds. The £4,000.00 of wagering is 40,000 cycles, and RTS 14D forbids a second slot cycle being commenced inside 2.5 seconds of the first starting. At the five pound slot ceiling it is 800 cycles and thirty-three minutes, and the expected cost is £160.00 at either stake.
- Does a bigger stake make the requirement cheaper?
- No. Wager size is absent from the pricing altogether, because turnover demanded is an amount of currency rather than a number of cycles. A larger wager reaches the same £4,000.00 in fewer cycles and less time, at the same £160.00 of expected cost, and leaves the line at the foot where it was.
- Do the slot stake limits apply to this kind of credit?
- They apply to the games, not to the credit. Every remote casino licence has carried a cap on the stake in one game cycle since a statutory instrument of 25 February 2025: two pounds for a player under twenty-five, and five pounds for anyone older. The Commission’s guidance dates those at 9 April 2025 and 21 May 2025 and confines them to online slots, so roulette and blackjack are untouched.
- Is the ten times wagering cap clearer for a cash bonus than for spins?
- Yes, and that is one real advantage of the money reading. Social Responsibility Code 5.1.1 writes its ceiling around bonus funds, and a credit denominated in pounds and held as bonus funds is squarely within those words. Nobody has published whether a single free cycle is bonus funds on its own, and no honest page settles it in either direction.
- What happens to these figures at a 30 per cent contribution rate?
- A sixty pound overshoot becomes £433.33. Contribution owed stays at £4,000.00, and earning it thirty pence at a time takes £13,333.33 of wagering, costing £533.33. At a third of a pound in contribution even ten times, the regulated ceiling, prices at minus £33.33. The cap binds the multiple and leaves weighting alone.
- Can an offshore site cap what this credit withdraws?
- A British licensee may not cap withdrawals out of a deposit balance, and the specimen term the regulator prints as barred holds a week to £500 and a day to £50. A no deposit account has no deposit balance, so that protection does not reach a ceiling written around the bonus. Away from the British licence neither rule applies at all.
- Which duties stop at the border with a British licence?
- On a credit of this kind: the ten times ceiling, the bar on one incentive spanning two products, the five pound and two pound stake limits on slots, the floor of 2.5 seconds between slot cycles, and the bans on turbo and on automatic play. None of them appears in the Curaçao rulebook read for this site, whose entire word on bonuses is two sentences about clear terms and promotion that is not aggressive.
